As we’ve previously posted, The Matched Trilogy’s Facebook page has been releasing teaser quotes from the upcoming 3rd installment in the Matched Trilogy, “Reached.” The latest post has every reader’s heart’s racing as someone’s heart is slowing down…
“Is this happening to everyone? Or only to me? Is someone trying to make sure I don’t come back?
I can hear my own heart slowing down.” – page 310, REACHED

With a little over one week until “Reached” is released, readers are getting a lot of teasers and glimpses into the conclusion of this trilogy.. have any of you started to come up with any theories?
Allie Condie recently made a post on her blog about her inspirations. She mentioned three things that keep her inspired.
1. Watching Phelps and the men’s 4 x 100 freestyle relay in Beijing. It makes me want to just rock the paragraph I am writing, throw my arms up in the air, and roar like Phelps when I’m finished.
2. Listening to this song by the Piano Guys and Alex Boye. I love the song, and I also, as you all know, am pretty crazy about the landscape they use as a background.
3. Looking at this painting by John Singer Sargent. And yes, this might be a little tiny hint about something that will appear in REACHED…and that’s all I will say for now.
She included a race with Michael Phelps, a cover of the Coldplay song, ‘Paradise,’ with a twist (which you should definitely check out) and this painting by the late American artist, John Singer Sargent:

As stated above, it might be a hint of things to come in ‘Reached.’ What do you think this means? Leave your guesses in the comments!
